The position of Sales Manager and Event Planner exists to manage event sales from inquiry to contract booking as well as execution for weddings and events at Chapel Creek Ranch.
Event Sales: Responsible for achieving the monthly sales quota. Job performance commissions and retention based on the attainment of goals and overall growth of the brand and revenue.
Event Planning & Management: Work with clients to plan their event, meet for final walk-throughs with clients, coordinate the set up and break down of the event with our team while ensuring the highest level of customer service and professionalism to clients and staff.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Being an expert at providing information about the venue and rental packages
Answering incoming calls, texts, emails and other inquires requesting information to
Giving tours of the venue and following up with sales leads
Achieving weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals
Managing event calendar with planning team and owners
Providing clients with excellent customer service from inquiry to event to asking for review
Maintaining an expert knowledge of wedding and event trends and local industry resources
Establish and maintain excellent relationships with our core vendor team
Be able to problem solve and effectively manage the team and an event schedule on event day

A proven track record of sales and ability to meet and exceed expectations
Passionate about people and the event experience
Eye for detail
Self motivated and self starter
Experience planning events and working with a team
Proficient with computer using google drive, email and other software
Ability to maintain a positive, polished and professional image and attitude
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment without compromising quality
Reliable transportation
Willing and able to work varying shifts, weekends REQUIRED and some holidays
